Publication Recognizes Angela Braly's Leadership Within the Industry
INDIANAPOLIS, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- WellPoint, Inc., the nation's largest health benefits provider, announced today that incoming president and chief executive officer, Angela Braly was named as one of the top female health executives on the Top 25 Women in Healthcare list by Modern Healthcare Magazine. In its April 16th issue, Modern Healthcare features Ms. Braly in the second iteration of this biennial feature.
The list features women in the health care industry effecting change, exhibiting leadership, contributing outside of their own company, and mentoring other women. Modern Healthcare solicited nominations from across the healthcare industry and had its editorial team narrow the nominations to the twenty-five strongest.
